This print is one of the images included in my new book, Recollections: Three Decades of Photographs. I have enjoyed this print for years, and I am thrilled to be able to share it with others in Recollections, and as a special collectors edition print offering. This image was made in an industrial area of Los Angeles, when I was living in Southern California. I was leading a Zone System class field trip when I made this image. The last rays of late afternoon sun transformed this utilitarian warehouse gate into a luminous abstract sculpture for me. This print is available for a limited time at the very special price of $600. John’s 11x14” prints normally retail in galleries for $900, so the savings over the retail price is significant. This print is personally printed by John (as are all his prints), processed to current archival standards, signed, mounted, and matted to 16x20” on 100 percent rag museum board.
